HCCU NOT ONLY PROVIDES SUPPORT WHEN NEEDED, BUT IN MY 8 YEARS AT BA NOW MORE THAN EVER, IT FEELS LIKE MY EXTENDED FAMILY. THEY ARE ALWAYS THERE WHEN I NEED ADVICE AND SUPPORT WITH NOT ONLY FACTS BUT A FRIENDLY FACE WITH EVEN JUST A BISCUIT ON THOSE DAYS WHEN SOMETIMES YOU JUST FEEL OVERWHELMED. HAVING HAD TO HAVE SICKNESS AND BEING ON A LEVEL 3 EXTENSION DUE TO A NUMBER OF BEREAVEMENTS, HCCU HELPED ME TIME AND TIME AGAIN TO ENSURE I GOT THE RIGHT SUPPORT WHEN IT WAS NEEDED & WERE ALSO PERSONALLY KIND TO ME. HCCU are an inclusive, democratic and dedicated branch of Unite the Union representing the needs and concerns of the British Airways Heathrow Cabin Crew Team members. We are 100% member-led, and our priority is to put the needs of our members above all else.

Our team of experienced and committed representatives provide expert assistance and guidance to members around the clock to ensure that any issues are resolved in a timely manner and that when things do not go to plan, members have a trustworthy and reliable source of support. As a branch, we genuinely care for our members. Everyone is treated with respect and dignity, ensuring every voice is listened to, and every concern is addressed. Our representatives have vast experience of mixed flying and the demands this can place on an individual and a wealth of knowledge on current HCC contracts and terms of employment. This knowledge has proven to be a vital source of support for our members time and time again.

Our branch provides day-to-day support and representation and works tirelessly to improve the working environment for all members of the HCC Team through meeting with management to discuss everything from rostering to pay. We are always looking to address the pressures our members face and have a productive and effective working relationship with BA.
