We work extensively in the following areas to ensure our working environment is subject to continuous improvement by raising and expressing our member's needs and concerns to the company.
Our representatives are approachable, committed and ready to listen whenever our members need us.
Negotiating and representing all pay-related matters for members, including achieving pay raises and reviews.
Providing dedicated and timely support for members with queries relating to the flying agreement and their duties/roster issues. We understand mixed flying and the additional pressure this presents.
We have over 10 years of experience in representing and negotiating OCG contract types, and this includes elements of policy management such as; Attendance at Work, Managing Absence, Conduct and Disciplinaries, Social Media Policy, Bullying & Harassment, Downroute Incidents, Grievances and Discrimination
Delays, Cancellations, Weather, World Events. All play a part in disrupting the rosters of our members. We are on hand to provide support and advice when this happens, including raising things with management when you are unable to.
HCCU meets regularly with fleet management to discuss various issues relating to training, recruitment and promotion and plays an active role in forming decisions in these areas.
Life happens - and sometimes, we need someone to talk to. HCCU are here for members when things don't go to plan, or there are personal matters that you need support with. Our representatives are ready to listen and treat all personal issues with strict confidentiality.
